Context

The investment market in listed companies is characterized by being quite transparent, with numerous objective indicators that allow to make investment decisions with a relative degree of certainty. This does not apply to unlisted companies, especially high-growth SMEs, where there is no transparency or objective indicators.

The IntelFin project uses artificial intelligence techniques to build a cognitive system capable of elaborating an advanced analysis of unlisted companies, especially SMEs in which predictive and natural language processing plays an important role in bringing clarity, reliability and transparency to investment.

We need a tool that will serve as a channel for the client-investor investment capacity, while at the same time satisfying the financing needs of the other part of the business network. Correct data management and information analysis are a key factor in making a good investment decision. Therefore, the development of a comprehensive and high-performance tool will make it possible to extract knowledge from data that a priori may not appear to be related to a given company. This competitive advantage will allow us to target sectors that are not as widely regulated as listed companies, but which have a large amount of information, in different channels and formats, waiting to be exploited.
